The Airmax EcoSeries Floating Fountain showcases beautiful industry leading spray patterns that outmatch other 3/4 HP and 1 HP fountains. The EcoSeries Fountain operates in as little as 24″ of water depth and includes an energy efficient 1/2 HP stainless steel motor, motor lead, oversized modular intake screen with strain relief and underwater disconnect. Each fountain also includes 3 spray patterns, control panel and a standard, poly flex or stainless steel power cord. and includes a 3 Year Warranty. The EcoSeries 1/2 HP Fountain aerates ponds up to 1/4 surface acre, 6' deep. Larger ponds will require additional diffused air or multiple fountains. Fountains can be purchased with or without color-changing LED light set.

When to Use

Airmax 1/2 HP EcoSeries Fountain creates a more enjoyable pond or lakefront living experience by pulling in water from the bottom of the motor and producing bigger, fuller, and more impressive flow patterns that are trajected into the sky.

Not only will a water fountain make a beautiful focal landscaping piece that passer-byers will notice, but the spray pattern also breaks the water tension, driving floating debris and algae to the water's edge or sink to the bottom. The improved water circulation also aerates shallow water ponds up to 6' deep, adding oxygen to the water and improving water clarity.

Installation

Please review the product manual and ensure you have power close to your pond before installing your fountain. If you do not have power close to your pond, we recommend to ALWAYS use a licensed electrician to properly run power down to the pond.

Plug & Play Control Panel: This control panel includes two 115 volt, 15 amp outlets ready to power one fountain and one optional light set. No hard wiring is required. Simply plug in the 24-inch power cord whip into a standard 115-volt outlet. In the event of a ground fault, a fast-acting circuit breaker will shut off the electrical power. The control panel features dual digital timers allowing your to independently program fountain and light run times up to 8 cycles.

Recommend Fountain Accessories (sold separately)

• Purchase a Mooring Kit to anchor your fountain to prevent it from moving with the wind and waves.
• Protect the fountain pump from debris getting into the chamber by placing a Fountain Filter Sock over the bottom of the fountain motor.
• Keep your intake screen and motor clean with D-Scale Cleaner. Just spray on and wipe off any limescale, calcium or rust stains with a soft cloth.

 

Water is drawn in from the bottom of the 1/2 HP oil-free and seal-free, water-cooled motor to improve water circulation and spray patterns, and it is easy to maintain. The asynchronous motor is energy efficient, drawing 5.8 amps, 677 watts, on 115 volts. A silicon carbide shaft bearing and the ceramic shaft sit in a stainless steel body attached to a suction screen to keep debris out.

The included high-quality, 115 Volt/15 Amp Plug & Play Control Panel includes two outlets to power both the fountain and optional light kits. Programmable 24-hour dual electrical digital timers allow for custom timing of fountain and lighting run times.

All EcoSeries Floating Fountains come with an underwater quick disconnect, strain relief cable attachment and standard power cord in lengths of 100', 150', 200', 250', 300', 350' or 400'. The included strain relief cable attachment prevents the power cord from damaged if the cord is snagged or tugged. Note: 2 power cords will be included, when purchasing the fountain and Color-Changing Light Set.

All Airmax floating fountains and LED light sets come with a standard power cord, however, if you have nuisance pond wildlife like beavers or muskrats that are notorious for chewing, you may want to explore our cord protection options. Replacement cords can be expensive and time-consuming so investing in cord protection is a great insurance policy for your fountain. Airmax power cords can be wrapped with our durable PolyFlex protective sheathing, or if you are looking for something more substantial we highly recommend the stainless-steel option for the ultimate power cord protection.
